This 1-day Mount Bisoke hiking tour gives you an opportunity of hiking one of them located in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and part of the eight mountains in the Virunga ranges that sprawl through three countries of Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The mountain stands at 3,175m above sea level, thus fit for everyone, including a first hiker. You will be exposed to plenty of flora and fauna, amazing views of Rwanda’s undulating hills and rare bird species among others.

Day 1: Ascend and descend Mount Bisoke
On this day, our company representative who doubles as your driver-guide will pick up from the agreed point, and start a drive to the park’s headquarters; the briefing will be during the drive.
Upon arriving at the park, you will have another briefing session and document verification at 7:30am before heading to for the hike, accompanied by expert park rangers, porters, and security personnel.
This hike lasts for approximately 4-5 hours while enjoying the clear views of the park, plantations, birds, and some primates on a lucky day. When you reach the peak, you will have to enjoy your lunch meal, have the liberty of taking photos, glace at the different Virunga Mountains, and smile at the landscape.
Thereafter, you will descend the mountain and Join your driver guide who will drive you off to the agreed ending point.
