This 3 days Bwindi gorilla safari will start from Kigali – Rwanda and cross into Uganda via Katuna border, to Bwindi impenetrable forest for an ultimate gorilla experience not found elsewhere in the world.
Through the thick and ever green forest, you will trek through in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Trekking will take place in Ruhija, the eastern sector of Bwindi with over four gorilla families including, Bitukura, Oruzogo, Kyaguriro, etc. Departure will be in Entebbe – Kampala.

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi
Pick up from Kigali, Rwanda, at the airport by our driver guide and brief you about the 3 days Bwindi gorilla safari. Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is a 4-hour drive from Kigali town via Katuna border.
Enter Uganda and head straight to Ruhija sector. On arrival in the park check in at the lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Ruhija
Have early morning breakfast, head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing by the guide then proceed for a trek in the thick forest. Ruhija has three gorilla families but only one family of your choice will be trekked.
An experienced guide will lead the journey as they can easily know the tracks and exact spots where these natural beauties can be found. One hour will be spent with the gorillas as you experience their livelihood and see them feed on forest fruits and plant roots, swing on tree branches and also gaze at them as they play notoriously with each other.
Pictures will be allowed to be taken to capture the fulfilling memories and keep in mind to turn off the phone flash as these irritate the gorillas. Later on after this activity, return for lunch and resting at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala
Wake up early for breakfast, check out at the lodge and prepare for an 8-hour drive to Kampala. Have a stopover at Igongo cultural Centre and then proceed to Kampala.
On arrival in the city, branch off to Entebbe international airport for departure to your next destination. This day will end our 3 days Bwindi gorilla safari tour.
