The 3 days Kidepo National Park Safari gives you an opportunity to explore Kidepo National Park in northeastern Uganda, 410 kilometers from Kampala the capital city of Uganda approximately 8-hour drive to the park. This safari covers game drives with an opportunity of viewing savannah wildlife species and cultural exploration. The park covers an area of 1,442 square kilometers and is a habitat of 4 out of the big five including elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopards.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo National Park
You will be picked up by a well-trained guide and embark on a journey to Kidepo National Park via Gulu/Kitgum route in the northeastern Uganda 410 kilometers from Kampala to the park which is approximately 8-hour drive to the Park.
You will have a stopover for lunch hereafter proceed to the park, check in to the lodge early enough for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning Game drive and Cultural encounter
Get up early enough and have your breakfast then proceed on a 2-3-hour drive via the savannah grassland area with a chance to spot out variety of savannah dwellers which include; lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, leopards, hyenas and cheetahs, and birds including ostriches, antelopes and so many others.
And then transfer to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon proceed to Karamojong community for cultural tour. After this activity, proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game Drive, Return to Kampala for Departure.
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast and after, you will have short game drive to see the savanna dwellers that you missed out the previous day including elephants, buffaloes, leopards, lions, giraffes, birds and many others. After, you will drive back to Kampala/Entebbe for departure.
