Detailed Itenerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via the Equator.
You will be picked up by the tour guide and embark on the journey via Masaka-Mbarara road, have an enroute stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable pictures and stretching up. After, proceed with the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, reach in the evening, check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive and an Afternoon Launch Cruise
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a drive across the pleasant savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth in search for wild game. Proceed to Kasenyi plains where you will have an opportunity to see the four of the big five like; elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopards. This activity will take 3-4 hours and then retire to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
After lunch, you go for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel along Mweya Penisula. Kazinga channel separates the twin lakes; Lake Edward and Lake George and it is known as the capital of hippos and Nile crocodiles. After the 2 hours’ boat cruise, go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala Via Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru.
After your morning breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala via fort portal-Mubende Road, 391 kilometers, which is approximately 7-hour drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala – the capital city of Uganda.
On your way to Kampala, you will visit Amabeere G’anyina Mwiru caves and Tooro palace in Fortportal for a short cultural tour and then proceed with the journey to Kampala for your departure flight.
