The 3 days Jinja and Sipi falls tour, takes you to the eastern region of Uganda in Jinja to Sipi falls. This falls are located on the foothills of mountain Elgon near the Kenyan Border in Kapchorwa district. On the 3 days jinja and Sipi falls tour, you will hike to the top of the falls which is 7 kilometers approximately 3 hours hiking depending your physical fitness and speed while hiking.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Sipi Falls, Enroute at Mabira Forest, Visit The Vast Tea and Sugar Plantations.
You will be picked up by the tour guide early in the morning and embark on the journey to Jinja in the Eastern part of Uganda to Sipi Falls via Lugazi to visit the vast tea and sugar plantation have a stopover at Mabira forest for a short nature walk through the largest tropical forest in Uganda. Proceed to Sipi falls arrive the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Hike to Sipi Falls and evening Coffee Tour.
After an early morning breakfast, the day 2 of your tour will start up with an interesting activity of hiking which favors one to view the beautiful scenery of mountain Elgon, this activity will take 2-3 hours. After hiking, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, you will go for an evening coffee tour on the slopes of Mountain Elgon, in this you will learn how the Arabic coffee is made by the Bagishu people. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Visit the Jewish Center and embark on the journey back to Kampala.
After a healthful breakfast in the morning, you will go for a visit at the Jew Center to get more knowledge about the history of the Jewish community and more history about Semei Kakungulu who was the founder of the Jews community in Uganda.
After this activity, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala for your departure.
