This 2-day trip will take you to Uganda’s largest national park; Murchison falls national park that is found in the eastern region of Uganda. This park has over 76 mammal species and 450 birds offering an experience like no other while on this tour.
Not forgetting the numerous and fun activities in the park such as game drives, hiking and a boat cruise on Victoria and Albert Nile. The trip will start and end in Kampala.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls N/P, Boat cruise.
Wake up early for breakfast at the respective place of accommodation, pick up by our professional guide for briefing and a drive to Murchison falls national park, this will take about 5 hours from Kampala. On arrival, check in at the lodge, have lunch then proceed for an evening boat cruise on the Victoria Nile.
This launch trip unleashes multiple park wonders such as wildlife that lives and feeds near the banks of the river, for example, the crocodiles, schools of hippos and also other mammals such as elephants, antelopes and Oribis as you see them drink and cool off in nature waters of the Nile.
As you sail off during the sunset you will have a magnificent view of Murchison falls as it vigorously passes through a narrow gorge giving scenic view. After return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: Game drive, return to Kampala
Have a delicious cup of tea at the lodge, prepare for a thrilling adventure on a game drive in the park, it will start as early as 6:30am to catch sight of the early hunters before heading back to the bush to rest, for example, hyenas, lions and leopards.
This game drive will avail other mammal species such as the graceful giraffes, Elephants, buffaloes and Antelopes among others. After this activity return to the lodge for lunch and proceed on your journey to Kampala for departure via Entebbe international airport, to your next destination.
